He suffered many things as a young boy, growing up in Ghana. He was moved from home to home, for whatever reasons, problem and because his parents had travel abroad. At a certain time in his life, he was going to Church on Sundays and then to the mosque on the Fridays because the man that was raising him at one point was a Muslim (his mothers friend).

 

He writes, " in both homes, I was well looked after. This good man Latif and his family -God bless them, took good care of me. At the age of 11, my most terrifying worry and fear was what the universe hold. Somehow, I was trouble about what was beyond the universe, whether the universe is eternal, and if so then what is the purpose of life? I beheld everybody will live forever. I was very troubled of the fact that all lives are eternal, that is all people we will grow old and die, our children and their children and their children will all grow old and die, for generation to generations to what end, and to what purpose". 

 

This is the natural understanding of the eternity. But when the spiritual veil (darkness) over the faces of people are removed/ uncovered, then we see with our eyes/ our eyes of understanding are enlightened, (this is when one become born again by the Spirit of God).  we see the true eternity which all living souls continue to dwell, even after death either in paradise (Heaven) or in non-existence (Hell). The scriptures says, the souls of the righteous shall receive a new spiritual body when the Christ shall be revealed 

( 1Corinthians 15:51-54). His thinking and worries got so bad, to a point he would grind his teeth, and the more he thought on these issues of eternity and why life, the more he would grinds his teeth more, and the more the headaches he would get. His headaches became very severe to a thumping headaches. 

 

Then one day, something happened and the headaches ceased. He found the truth, the Christ, the anointed king Jesus the Christ. He appeared to him in a dream. [ Godly dreams are God's way of speaking to prophets in riddles, even to everyone who has receive His Spirit. (Number 12:6,8 & Joel 2:28)]

 

In the dream, he was on a journey. He was travelling through the land to the end of the world to the sea. Then through the seas and like he was moves through the sea in a super-fast mode to this wonderful place, where he met The LORD Jesus Christ. There were several people there too sitting like in a gathering. Then coming out to the field, Jesus Christ gave him a seed, it was a pineapple seed to plant with Him. He planted it with Him, then the pineapple grew and when the pineapple ripe, The LORD Jesus Christ and him including several of the workers sat together at a table and ate together. 

 

As he was growing up and traveled to the United Kingdom, his life took a different path. Having graduated as Architect Technologist, yet life became very tough, going in circles, and nothing seems to work for him. Perhaps this was because he was walking the wrong path or because certain powers were at work against him. His life became like a person who cannot do anything right. A life of rejection by everybody, sicknesses and dejected to a point of considering suicide. But somehow, God kept him until the day of visitation.

One morning til the noon, The Lord Jesus Christ Visited him. Then, gradually things began to changed in his life. Then He came to the understand of his Calling to the Ministry of Christ, the preaching of the gospel of peace. 

 

He writes and say of himself, "I am a witness and I speak of what I has seen and heard and received from The Lord".

 

The Man of God Israel Godson is married to Minister Beulah Ella and God has blessed them with children proving that with

The Lord Jesus Christ what seems impossible is possible, if ONLY one believes and trust him.
